Delete your WeSolve account

You can delete your WeSolve account at any time and remove all of your data. There are two ways:
Option 1 โ From inside the app (recommended, instant)

Open WeSolve and sign in to the account you want to delete.

Tap Profile (bottom navigation), then the gear icon to open Settings.

Scroll to the red "Danger zone" section at the bottom and tap "Delete my account".

Confirm twice. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
Option 2 โ Email request (if you cannot access the app)
If you no longer have access to the app or cannot sign in, send us an email and we will delete your account within 30 days:

For verification, please send the email from the same address you used to register. We may ask for additional information to confirm ownership.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your profile (name, avatar, email, friend code)
- All uploaded study materials (PDFs, images, notes)
- All quizzes, quiz attempts, flashcards, and study analytics
- All friendships, messages, classroom memberships, and competitive matches
- Subscription record (the actual Apple/Google subscription must be cancelled separately from your device's subscription settings)
What is retained
For legal, security, and fraud prevention purposes, we may retain limited information for up to 12 months:
- Anonymized server logs (IP addresses are truncated after 30 days)
- Records of payment events (required by tax law)
- Encrypted backups (purged on the next regular cycle)
Cancelling subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Apple or Google subscription. To stop future charges, cancel separately:
- iOS: Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > WeSolve > Cancel
- Android: Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > WeSolve > Cancel
